We gather to foster devotion to Mary, to participate and share in the spiritual life of the parish, and to serve and provide for the poor and needy in our community.

The various Sodality committees are:

We work to assist and raise funds for the several charities and organizations that the parish supports.

These are some of the many charitable events we are involved in as an organization.

• Our Holiday Food Drive and the Giving Tree supports over 1,200 families throughout the Germantown and surrounding area by providing holiday meals and Christmas gifts for each of the family members.

• We organize quarterly visits to the Retired Sisters of Charity in Emmitsburg, MD. We entertain the Sisters with bingo and ice cream social. During Christmas, we deliver the gifts collected from the Sodality Giving Tree. We host a Christmas concert performed by the children and some members of the parish choir.

• We sponsored a Diaper Drive for an organization that supports pregnant women facing financial difficulties.

ABOUT US

Mother Seton Parish Sodality of Our Lady is an organization of Catholic women aged 18 years and over.

Come join us! Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month from September to June.

Our purpose is to increase the personal holiness of our members and to train them in charitable work for others.

Our motto is “To Jesus through Mary”.

• On Sodality Sunday and at our monthly meetings, we begin by reciting the Holy Rosary.
  
  
• We organize a spiritual retreat for our members to cultivate spiritual growth.
  
  
• To form a deeper relationship with God, we encourage Sodalists to do an annual 33 day do-it-yourself retreat in preparation to Marian Consecration, a commitment to Jesus through Mary.

Called by God to be one in Christ, Mother Seton Parish Sodality members come together as a faith community in a loving and caring environment to foster devotion to Mary, to participate and share in the the poor and needy in the community.
