FAMILY FORMATION
1st through 6th Grade

What is family formation? 
This ministry is focused on equipping our families to teach their children at home and encouraging them to live their faith together, daily in order to have a personal relationship and encounter with Christ? 

This goal is accomplished in many ways based on age, needs, and sacramental requirements of each student and family. This is done with an emphasis on helping families live out their faith in their everyday life. 

WHEN DO WE MEET?

We will meet at church one Monday a month. This is for both student and parent. Parents are REQUIRED to attend parent sessions!!  

Monday 5:00-6:15 PM: 1st grade and RCIC ES Y1 grades 3, 4 & 5 For the baptized or unbaptized students who missed 2nd grade First Communion.
Monday 6:30-7:45 PM: 3rd – 6th grade
Wednesday 5:30-7:00 PM: 2nd grade

RCIA-AC Elementary Level
What if my child is out of cycle for sacraments? NO PROBLEM!

RCIA-AC YEAR 1
Grades 3,4,5
This first year you will learn about the foundations of our faith. 
We will meet one Monday a month from 5:00-6:15 PM 

RCIC -AC YEAR 2
Grade 4,5,6 and have completed year 1

We will meet one Wednesday a month from 5:30-7:00 PM 
This is for both student and parent. Parents are REQUIRED to attend parent sessions!!

What happens the rest of the month?
-Each family will be given a home lesson packet. You will have all the materials you need to teach
-You and your family pick the day and time each week that works the best to sit down together and do the lesson.
-If your student is preparing for sacraments you will also have a sacrament home lesson book as well as the home lessons.
-All together this should take one hour a week to complete.
