Dear Mother Seton Parish,
As we enter into these most holy days, let us “Look Christ in the face.” These days are an event to enter, not things to do. Attached below are a few quotes from Msgr. Giussani on the Rosary. I recommend it as a help to what it means to look Christ in the face desiring a good, a change.
Given our radical weakness and instability, practice humble and assiduous prayer, particularly by means of the sacraments and the rosary; and remember the great rule: the value of our heart does not lie in never making mistakes or doing everything well but in knowing how to begin again always, being tireless because the only thing we will do in life—after every circumstance, every time we become aware that we have made a mistake or been unfaithful—is really begin again to tirelessly run towards Him.
I also share with you the Easter poster from Communion and Liberation for this year. The test reads:
Our hope has a name, Jesus. He entered the tomb of our sin; He descended to those depths where we feel most lost; He wove His way through the tangles of our fears, bore the weight of our burdens and from the dark abyss of death restored us to life. Let us celebrate Easter with Christ! He is alive! Today, too, He walks in our midst, changes us and sets us free. Thanks to Him, evil has been robbed of its power; failure can no longer hold us back from starting anew.
Pope Francis
Christ’s victory is a victory over death. And the victory over death is a victory over life. Everything has a positivity–whatever our immediately perceptible, documentable situation may be, even the most painful, unimaginable–, is a good that is about to be born on the edge of our horizon as men.
Luigi Giussani
Christ is Risen, He is Risen Indeed!
(As is my custom and privilege, I am away Easter week on retreat. I will pray for you and the parish.)

Querida Parroquia Mother Seton,
Luigi Giussani
¡Cristo ha resucitado, ha resucitado de verdad!
